Description

The tutorial will give an overview of the basic principle, current strategies and technologies related to the field of distributed music performances and telepresence in general. Any aspect related to artistic goals, cognitive perception, network transmission, computer science and future technical directions will be covered. The practical part of the sessions will look at close range musical interactions within Europe and attempts are underway to also connect to far out places such as California and/or Chile to show the differences, musically and artistically.
